UK based artists please (we’re very small) – an affinity to Northampton preferred but not essential – the more local the better.

We will select a number of these compositions for a compilation – a permanent record (if you will) of our anger and frustration, but also a testament to why it’s vitally important to care for one another and not blame others for our own problems. Apart from Billionaires who we can definitely blame.

Let’s make something in opposition to the tide.

FAQ

What’s this all about?
We want to put out an anti fascist album, to use our voices to show that capitulation isn’t inevitable. We want to use the energy of anger for something positive, through music.

What’s in it for me?
We will organise a day for recording the songs with a backing band of quality session musicians – come and record your vocals/play your instrument and we’ll do the rest – Reasonable expenses will be paid to you and you will retain the copyright of your material. We will release the album on vinyl/download via Bandcamp.

What is this for?
We’re going to use the profits from this album to raise money for anti fascist/migrant care organisations, as yet undecided at this point as there are SO MANY. Suggestions welcome!

What do I need to do?
Write your song, record it somehow (on your phone or whatever you have, there is no need for a polished recording, that’s what we’re for) – send it to us (with lyrics written down, your pitch and a small bio) and we’ll pick the ones that resonate with this moment.

I live outside of Northampton/UK/Planet earth, what about me?
As we’re a small Northampton based label it’s not feasible to sort out travel costs for the recording session if you live anywhere outside of the Northamptonshire. There may be exceptions. We are making this up as we go along.

Will this end Fascism?
Maybe? Who knows?
